TRUST STARTS WITH CLARITY

Your account.
Your decisions.

Understand what connecting CAPAX means before you share access.

Google sign-in and mailbox access are separate

You sign in through Google. CAPAX does not ask for your Google password. Signing in identifies you to CAPAX; connecting a mailbox is a separate permission flow in Settings. Google shows the requested permissions before you grant access.

Permissions support the features you use

Gmail access supports reading, searching, organizing, drafting and sending mail. Calendar and Tasks are optional connections requested when you enable those tools. CAPAX opens Google Chat directly without requesting Chat API permissions. The Google consent screen is the source of truth for the permissions requested for your connection.

AI starts with your permission

AI processing starts off. Allowing it lets AI features send relevant email content and context to OpenAI. Background analysis and learning from received and sent mail are separate choices. Save your choices in Settings → AI & Privacy. Withdrawing permission blocks new AI transmissions across devices; a request already transmitted may finish. Mail tools and manual commitments remain available without AI.

Personal memory stays under review

Shared memory means context used across features in your own account, not shared with other users. You can save notes yourself. Learned proposals include supporting source excerpts and need your confirmation before use in attention, weekly planning or contextual replies. Correct or forget them as things change. In contextual replies, you choose which saved details may be included; review the draft before using it.

Approving a suggested follow-up tracks a commitment in CAPAX. It does not send an email. Read the pilot privacy notice for storage, learning and recovery details.

Connection credentials and stored data

CAPAX encrypts stored Google refresh tokens using a server-managed encryption key. This protects connection credentials; it does not mean all cached email content is encrypted at the application layer. CAPAX stores mailbox data on its server so the workspace can sync and display conversations.

Disconnection and account deletion

Connected mailbox access is scoped to its CAPAX user. Disconnect a mailbox in Settings → Accounts, or revoke CAPAX from your Google Account connections.

For full account deletion, use Settings → AI & Privacy → Delete your CAPAX account. Review the affected data and identity confirmation before deleting. This removes your account and owned data from the active CAPAX database. It does not delete your original Gmail messages, Calendar events or Tasks, revoke Google’s app grant, or recall an action already in progress.

Recovery copies, offline devices and downloaded files have separate limits. Read the deletion and recovery details. If you cannot access these controls, contact support.capax@gmail.com from your pilot account for identity-verified assistance.
