How to track email follow-upsUNDERSTANDING WITH YOUR PERMISSION
AI processing, background analysis and learning from mail are separate choices that start off. Learned proposals need your confirmation. In contextual replies, choose the facts you are comfortable sharing and review the draft before using it.

No. CAPAX connects to Gmail as another way to work with your mail. Your Google account remains yours, and you can continue using Gmail.
CAPAX is in an invitation-based pilot. Use the pilot request form to tell us about your email challenges. Access is confirmed individually. The setup guide explains what happens after an invitation.
It is personal memory shared across features in your own CAPAX account. It is not shared with other pilot users. Notes you save and learned facts you confirm can help with attention, weekly planning and contextual replies. You can correct or forget them.
Only after you grant AI processing permission. AI features send relevant mail and context to OpenAI. Background analysis and learning from received and sent mail each have a separate choice. You can use the core mail tools and manual follow-through without AI. Read the pilot privacy notice.
Finding or approving a commitment tracks it in CAPAX. It does not send a message or mark the commitment complete. You review drafts and choose when to send. Due dates and check-ins stay visible in Follow-through.
Disconnect a mailbox in Settings → Accounts to stop its CAPAX connection. For full CAPAX account deletion, use Settings → AI & Privacy → Delete your CAPAX account and review the confirmation. Account deletion removes active CAPAX data; it does not delete your Gmail messages, Calendar events or Tasks, or revoke Google’s app grant. Backup and device-cleanup limits are explained in the privacy notice. Contact support if you cannot access the controls.
